Woodland Bunny Neutral Girl Nursery
When it comes to nursery designs, our baby’s nursery was always destined to be bunny-themed! If you know me, I’ve loved bunnies for years and have spoiled each bunny that’s been in my care. Here’s a look at our nursery for baby Holland, including links to where we purchased the items from.
I loved picking out each detail for our baby’s room. Although Holland didn’t start sleeping in her bedroom until she was a little over 6 months old, it’s been such a nice place to spend time playing and for so many diaper changes. I didn’t realize how important easy-to-clean furniture would be!
Our nursery has mostly neutral pieces with a few pink elements. The crib, bookcase, and several other items also have natural wood tones. The wallpaper, furniture, and the majority of the decor use white and gray.

When looking for furniture, we chose Mid Century Modern pieces with dark pulls. This dresser has a removable changing table area so it can be used as a regular kid’s dresser later. The bunny pictures were of amazing quality and my daughter loves looking and talking to the bunny during changes. I also found affordable frames with plastic instead of glass since they were right above the changing space.

I use this cute little bunny basket daily. I actually use my wipe warmer too and have loved how convenient diaper changing has been with these items.

One thing I wanted for our nursery was a kid-friendly bookshelf. I couldn’t wait to have a room filled with fun books, especially with some of my favorites from my childhood. Living in Colorado, we wanted to incorporate a little bit of the mountains into the nursery. I found this felt garland on Etsy and it was perfect for the spot just above the bookshelf.

I was also looking for a nice Bible verse to display in our daughter’s room. I wanted something that she could look back on and know that her parents always wanted her to have this message with her. Once again, Etsy came through with a sign that looks like it was made for this room.

Although I describe our nursery as bunny-themed, there are a few other animals in the room. Our wallpaper has woodland animals and we have a fox toy basket. Hopefully, if Holland hates bunnies one day, she can at least have a couple of other animal options in her room! If you’ve noticed a trend with Amazon purchases, this was during the midst of quarantine.

This chair stole the show for comfort! We didn’t really have a color scheme for the room and this green gave off a woodland feel. The shade of green was very gray-tinted and of course, what really matters is how comfortable it is! I also appreciated that I could easily wipe up milk and spit it up with no issues to the fabric. Another great find was the nightstand. I found one on Amazon that looked just like the West Elm version.

I also got a couple of neutral striped baskets from Overstock and filled them with extra pillows and blankets. This custom baby name blanket was a gift and included a matching hat. It was very lightweight and soft and we used it to swaddle holland when she was just a few days old.

I searched high and low for a cute crib mobile. There were many expensive options, but I ended up finding this one and the holder on Amazon. Holland loved looking at the little bunnies! This picture is from her first Easter and includes her Easter basket.

One of the last things I picked out was our custom name sign. I couldn’t be happier with this one by Hickory Hollow Designs. The quality was great and the size looked perfect just above the crib! It really tied everything together and make the nursery feel complete!
I know one day Holland will want to decorate her own room and we will disassemble the nursery. Until then, I’ll love on my baby girl and this pretty little nursery for as long as I can. My husband and I had so much fun designing this and hope to create a beautiful playroom next. This will definitely not be the last of our decorating projects.
The true inspiration for this nursery was my mini rex bunny, Ike. Rest in Peace sweet Ike, you were a special friend to me and an important part of our family.
