We’re back from our Tahitian vacation and I can’t wait to share details from the trip!

After 1 week spent on the tropical paradise island of Mo’orea, I wasn’t all too excited to get back to reality. This vacation was very active and also romantic, although this trip would be just as luxurious for a single traveler.

A few takeaways from the vacation:

  • Moorea is a small island, but the landscape is breathtaking and there are plenty of activities to fill a weeks time
  • Resorts are all about romance and luxury, but Moorea itself is rustic, hiker/biker friendly, and full of adventure
  • The heat was very strong mid-day, but pleasant if by the water.
  • Knowledge of French language was helpful, but it’s better to be able to speak French
  • Resorts and excursions were not crowded in the month of April
  • We felt very safe and enjoyed independently driving around the entire Island of Moorea

I am most looking forward to sharing all of our money-saving tips as well as the total full price of the trip vs. the price we actually paid.

I will make it a priority to detail how we achieved significant savings as well as a few of the small things we did to try to cut costs. Other topics we’re covering are:
